Spring is here-time for new beginnings, rebirth, and growth.

NCTI has experienced quite an evolution since our inception back in 1968.  A decade ago, we were still celebrating the progression of building textbooks manually in a warehouse to printing on demand. This allowed us to make edits or changes to course content quickly although students already engaged in a course wouldn’t have the luxury of seeing those changes. 

When I first started with NCTI in 2010, “online courses” were the hot buzzwords around the office and it felt, at least to me, it would take eons for this concept to come to fruition. However, in 2014, NCTI launched its first version of the Pocket Library which eventually grew into what you now know as NCTI’s learning platform, Amp. Most of our courses are now online, allowing us to make changes, edits, and improvements to courses in real time and for the benefit of all students.

So as the northern hemisphere starts to thaw and the dormancy of winter gives way to the rejuvenation of spring, NCTI remains resolute in our goal to continually grow, evolve, and innovate. We will continue to keep you up-to-date on new and updated courses, and starting with this newsletter, we will share on a quarterly-basis the technological advancements we have made to Amp over the previous three months.
