NCTI is proud to announce the launch of a new safety course, Electrical Safety for Telecommunications Workers. Developed in partnership with Cadick Corp., and BNS, the new course is intended to protect workers whose tasks put them in proximity to dangerous energized lines or power facilities.

The course equips both inside and outside telecommunications technicians with essential knowledge to recognize and prevent hazards related to electrical systems. The course covers a range of topics, including overhead line construction and inside plant installations involving both AC and DC applications. Additionally, organizations can use this course to help ensure their workers have received the appropriate training to comply with OSHA regulations and industry standards including ANSI, ASTM, and NFPA 70E.

Electrical Safety for Telecommunications Workers is delivered online, and has an estimated length of four seat hours.
