After announcing Paul Eisbrener’s retirement in 2021, NCTI named Industry veteran, Jeff Gibson, Director of Learning and Development.
Jeff began his 30+ year career in Cable Telecommunications as a frontline field installer, service technician, line technician, and headend tech before serving in field leadership. In Learning and Development, Jeff’s experience has spanned roles from tech instructor to national Vice President. Notable roles include VP of Comcast’s Technical Operations College, leading all training efforts for Comcast’s nearly 30,000 field technicians; VP of Comcast University’s Midwest Division team; and VP of Comcast’s National Center of Excellence L&D group, providing training to call center employees across the country.
Jeff’s most recent role was as VP, College of Technologists for Comcast University. In this role, Jeff built and lead the team responsible for skill development of Comcast’s international engineering community, which included software and network engineers, machine learning experts, engineering architects, and product development engineers.

Jeff is a past Board Member of the Michigan Science Center, a Member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and a Member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Jeff also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University, and resides with his wife and children in Michigan.
