Private 5G Networks

Private 5G networks are set to become a key aspect of the mobile telecoms ecosystem, providing network performance, control and coverage characteristics to rival the current private network technologies that are available. This course explores a variety of aspects of Private 5G, beginning with the main concepts and drivers, advantages and challenges. Focus will also be given to spectrum usage for Private 5G, network deployment models and use cases, with particular emphasis on Industry 4.0 and the importance of Time Sensitive Networking.
