Hoyt off the Press: Real-World Results on Your Terms

May 18, 2023 By admin

Are you looking to keep your skills fresh and take your career to the next level, but don’t have the time for college courses? We’ve got the solution: NCTI badging and certifications!

In the fast-evolving Broadband industry, lifelong learning is essential to keeping your job skills and knowledge up to date. That’s why NCTI offers industry-recognized badges in technical, customer care, and mentoring and leadership capacities. These badges are assigned within NCTI’s Amp learning platform when you successfully complete two to three courses in a specific discipline.

Upgrade Your Earning Power with NCTI Badges

By earning an NCTI badge, you can increase your industry knowledge in a time-effective manner and apply it to your job immediately. Plus, getting your badge puts you on the pathway toward earning an NCTI certification, which can help you stand out in the job market even more.

For example, completing NCTI’s Fiber Installation and Activation and Fiber Testing and Maintenance courses earns you the Fiber Optics badge. In the past 12 months alone, 330 of your industry peers and colleagues have earned their Fiber Optics badges through NCTI. And the best part? The average time to complete each of these courses is just 17 hours. So, in only 35 hours or less, you can earn your Fiber Optics badge, increase your specialized knowledge, and check off two of the seven courses needed to earn your NCTI Master Technician certification.

Once you’ve earned your Master Technician certification, you’ll have the option to enroll and complete the Digital Technician course. Then you can activate your college credits in Amp (at no cost) and be eligible for a college certificate in broadband technology. This puts you nearly halfway to earning your Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, which you can come back and complete when the time is right for you.

At NCTI, we have helped thousands of technical and care professionals expand their knowledge, increase marketability, and elevate their careers on their terms. We’d love to help you, too. Connect with me or my department colleagues at customercare@ncti.com, through Live Chat, or at 866.557.7206.
